Weapons Training with Kyomeikai Karate Club

To complement our empty hand training, we also practice Kobujutsu (Okinawan Weapons). We are students of the Ryukyu Kobujutsu Association of Great Britain (RKAGB) under Sensei Julian Mead. Sensei Mead spent 6 years living and training in Japan under the late Motokatsu Inoue, the founder of the Association. We train weekly with Sensei Mead as well as attending regular courses across Europe. We study Bo, Sai, Tonfa, Nunchaku and Kama. Those students wishing to undertake Kobujutsu training, have the opportunity to train with us. After attaining membership of the RKAGB students would then be welcome to attend training courses.
